"Today the producer's role is increasingly diminished and belittled - while, at the same time needed more than ever. Proof of Concept reminds us that the producer's skillset is both wildly varied and complex but also, essentially, teachable, and that the future of the media business depends on educating the next generation of producers."

There is always a need for high level training in the nuts and bolts of what it takes make a film, but this essential knowledge is constantly changing. Beyond the Set

✍️ For Writers
  • Improved clarity on what makes a script financeable
Understanding budget tiers and co-production structures means you write with commercial awareness — giving your project a stronger chance of progression

Move from draft to green light with confidence
Our creative management frameworks give you the tools to navigate development, producers, and timelines without losing creative control.

Protect what you create
Options, rights, deal memos — the business basics that mean you never sign away more than you should.

We want to hear from you !

What does a writer actually need right now? (Besides funding and a development deal!) We're actively building new content and  business resources shaped by our community — your challenges directly influence what we create next.

🎭 For Actors
  • Your name is a business asset — treat it like one
Talent deals, back-end points, and producer relationships don't manage themselves. Learn to negotiate your worth early.
  • Read a budget like it's your script
Knowing where the money sits on a production tells you everything about the project's ambition — and your leverage within it.
  • Turn every job into a long-term business  relationship
Actors who understand the business earn repeat calls, stronger deals, and a reputation that opens doors before the audition even happens.
  • Tell us what's holding you back
We're building resources specifically for actors navigating the business side of a film career. Your experience shapes what we build next.
💼 For Producers
  • Master the full financial architecture of a film
From gap financing to soft money and pre-sales, understanding every funding lever means you can build a slate — not just a single project.
  • Structure deals that make you someone financiers return to
Co-production agreements, rights ownership, and distribution terms are the foundations of a long career, not just one credit.
  • Creative management is your most underrated skill
Holding vision, budget, and relationships simultaneously under pressure is what separates the working producer from the aspiring one.
  • This community is co-created with producers in mind.
We know producing can be isolating. We actively seek input from our producer members to shape new content, connections, and resources — because the best tools get built with the people who need them most.
